About Us
WHO: The Louisville Climate Action Network is a network of
organizations and individuals committed to fighting global climate
change. Individual and organizational members receive periodic
educational postings and calls to action. LCAN was organized in
early-2007, and is governed by a steering committee.
WHAT: Louisville CAN aims to empower the community with
information on the dangers of global climate change and what they
can do to fight it.
HOW: Louisville CAN takes a multi-faceted approach, including:
organizations and individuals committed to fighting global climate
change. Individual and organizational members receive periodic
educational postings and calls to action. LCAN was organized in
early-2007, and is governed by a steering committee.
WHAT: Louisville CAN aims to empower the community with
information on the dangers of global climate change and what they
can do to fight it.
HOW: Louisville CAN takes a multi-faceted approach, including:
- offering presentations and educational information
- encouraging individuals to take the Louisville CAN pledge
- soliciting other organizations to join the network and to then
assist with spreading the word - lobbying governments to actively lead by positive example
