our carbon footprint are in improving the energy efficiency
(E2) of our homes, HVAC, major appliances and automobiles.
Multi-family housing uses much energy than does
single-family housing. But just like home values,
your home's location makes a big difference, too.
Strive to live near where you work, attend school,
etc, and where you have access to TARC service.
Insulate the attic, walls, band-boards,
etc, of your home or business. Options
include safe, expanding-foam products
(for closed and open spaces), cellulose
(made from recycled newspapers) and
fiberglass. Consult guidance before
deciding to either doing it yourself or
hiring a contractor.
