BOOK CLUB
Learn, have fun and meet new friends.

Join other inquisitive folks to discuss books on a range of climate topics. Now in our fourth year, we empower ourselves through hopeful books on climate action and solutions.

WHO: Adults and teens
WHEN: Discussions are at 7pm on the first Thursday of odd-numbered months unless changed to avoid a holiday. (Derby Week constitutes a holiday!)

WHERE: Because we have members who live elsewhere in Kentucky and Indiana, our discussions are virtual.
BOOKS: Members nominate and choose books by consensus. Books are available from Carmichael's Bookstore at a 20% discount, if not in digital and audio formats.

PARTICIPATION: You may participate in any or all discussion(s) of interest.

Interested? Submit our Contact form, and club co-chair Elizabeth Graves will reply promptly.
Our next book will be
"The Little Ice Age:
How Climate Made History 1300-1850,"
This is a fascinating book for anyone interested in history, climate, and how they interact., Brian M Fagan

But, folks may choose it or any of his three subsequent climate-history books. We’ll compare and contrast them.

We'll meet virtually at 7pm on
