BOOK CLUB
Learn, have fun and meet new friends.

Join other inquisitive folks to discuss books on a range of climate topics. Now in our fourth year, we empower ourselves through hopeful books on climate action and solutions.

WHO: Adults and teens
WHEN: Discussions are at 7pm on the first Thursday of odd-numbered months unless changed to avoid a holiday. (Derby Week constitutes a holiday!)

WHERE: Because we have members who live elsewhere in Kentucky and Indiana, our discussions usually are virtual.
BOOKS: Members nominate and choose books by consensus. Books are available from Carmichael's Bookstore at a 20% discount, if not in digital and audio formats.

PARTICIPATION: You may participate in any or all discussion(s) of interest.

Interested? Submit our Contact form, and club co-chair Elizabeth Graves will reply promptly.
Our next book will be
"A Place on Earth,"
by Kentuckian Wendell Berry

We're also reading and discussing his 2012 speech, It All Turns on Affection," posted under "Lexture Text" here.

We'll meet virtually at 7pm on
Thursday, May 7th
